Despite what you may imagine or what you may have heard, Uganda is a wonderful, civilised, cheerful place to be.

The best thing to do to verify this outlandish seeming statement is to surf around a few blogs. Almost every visitor raves about Uganda. The thing is, the Government are useless at promoting the country, so Uganda remains one of those “well kept secrets”.

And, as a visitor, you’ll be spared the few things that we don’t like about this glorious country….. the traffic jams, the slow bureaucracy, etc… and you can share the things we do love….. the friendly people, the cheap food and drink, the most amazing climate in the world, the absence of controlled airspace, the sheer fun of living in the place.
